Ebogo’s visit: The official launch of my adventure

Life has been busy lately, my apologizes for the delayed posting. However, like the saying goes, it’s better late than never, so here is the next episode of my 25 days aventure.

My holidays were officially getting started. Hahahh, the main reason being that I wanted to travel and discover the country. We visited numerous cities and places I hadn’t been to, and oh boy… it was so worth the effort, time and money.

We visited an attractive touristic site in a village called Ebogo located in the Centre region of Cameroon. From the site’s location and activities, the atmosphere, the food, the people’s hospitality to our discoveries, I am happy to say that our stay was very relaxing, enjoyable and memorable.

So what did we end up doing? Walking, chatting and connecting with one another far away from family, friends and the world. I say far away because there was no network/internet at the site. It’s all peace and tranquility from day one till the last day.

This being said, the very special
activity we did was canoeing on river Nyong, one of the largest rivers in the Centre. It was an amazing aventure, in the course of which our tour guide narrated stories about river Nyong and eventually took us on a mini hike in the forest. We discovered that the Touristic site houses several valuable national assets, such as the largest tree (The Kossipo) in Africa, also tagged as one of the oldest in the world (more than 1200 years). I couldn’t believe my eyes, but yet it seems to be true, to the extent where the tree is protected by the ministry as a valuable treasure.

To conclude, this three day touristic discovery was very refreshing to my soul, mind, body and relationship (it strengthened our bond). I entice you to visit the site whenever you get a chance.

Now stay tuned for the next episode of my 25 days adventure.

It’s a new year!

If in 2017, our paths crossed, our paths diverged, or our paths merged, I am grateful.

It was a pleasure knowing you all in 2017 and I look forward to knowing you better in 2018.

For all those who supported me, my dreams, my family and my future I appreciate you. Our God will not forget your labour of love.

For all who believed, believe and will believe in my passion, mission and vision, I say thank you. You are the real MVPs.

I know and believe that this new year will be my (our) greatest and best year thus far, so let’s stay focus and true to ourselves, true to our beliefs, mission, passion and vision.

Stay blessed and keep soaring high. The sky isn’t the limit, so don’t let your thoughts limit you.

Cheers to increased success, love, peace, joy, grace, money, health, prosperity and much more ❤️!
Happy new year 2018!
Thank you note

The month of December!

A time of reflection
A time of evaluation;

A season of analysis
A season of synthesis;

A moment of truth
A moment of worth;

An opportunity to grow, so let’s not forget to blow.

A feeling of praise
A feeling of grace;

Let’s take the time to appreciate
Let’s take the time to celebrate;

Life is too short to worry
Life is to short to be weary;

So let’s pray for a better tomorrow with no more sorrow.

A simple definition of self!

I once heard it being said that the way you describe yourself either makes you or breaks you. Do you describe and define yourself with humility or with pride? By pride I am not referring to boasting, but joy and a sense of worth. A sense of worth, especially when thinking about what and how you have worked hard to achieve what you have and who you currently are.

When thinking about self-description, one other thing comes to my mind.
Do we describe ourselves based on what we have or who we are?
We always have to remember that we are human beings, mortal creatures who came into this world with nothing and will certainly leave with nothing.

So what is our identity? Is it within our titles? Our education? Our family status? Our environment? Our character? Our personality? Or our interior wellbeing?
Yes, definitely they all play a part in defining us as individuals.

Therefore, how will you describe yourself? I often like describing myself by my passion and lifestyle. For instance, a lover of nature, an Emcee, a helping hand and most of all a lover of all. Now, it’s your turn to say something. Describe yourself briefly…

Cheers and happy December!

The little things that make a difference!

Let me tell you a short and sweet story today.
On a faithful day, as I was heading to a BBQ, I received a call to go pick up a friend. I agreed and headed to pick up my friend. And guess what? Since I was tired of driving, my friend agreed to take on the wheel until we reached the BBQ’s location. But something extraordinary happened on our way to the BBQ. I received a text message from the host to stop by the grocery store and get some extra drinks and water, to which I agreed hesitatingly.

But you know what? God had planned it otherwise, because our stop at the grocery store was very fruitful.

As we were about to pack the car we ran into an old acquaintance; whom we hadn’t seen in a while. We greeted each other and headed our way. Some seconds later, she comes running towards us again stating that she had locked her car keys in the car. All frustrated and sad about her action, I looked at her and immediately asked my friend to assist her (as I recalled that my friend had previously been in a similar situation and managed to unlock the car). That being said, all 3 of us headed to the grocery store to pick up the items and back to the car. After picking up the items, the car was successfully unlocked. As soon as the car door got unlocked, she stared amazed with a grateful and joyful heart. At that very instant, I exclaimed that our meeting was indeed divinely ordained. Upon hearing that declaration, she brightened up even further and gave us hugs upon hugs.

The encounter made us realize that noting happens in vein, but all things happen for a purpose and are ordained. We laughed about it and thanked the Lord for the divine encounter. Finally, we headed our separate ways and considered the day to be a fruitful one.

What conditions your time?

Time:
They say heals every wound;
They say mends every broken heart;
They say reveals true character(s);
They say tells you who your friends are;
They say makes you weep;
They say makes you happy!

They say:
With time you can move mountains;
With time you can get better;
With time you can love again;
With time you can be hopeful again;
With time you can change;
With time you can be wise!

So:
How do you use your time?
How do you share your time?
How do you let others use your time?
How do you value your time?
How do you prioritize who you give your time to?
How do you ensure that your time is maximized to your advantage?

Time brings about change and change is the only constant we have. Therefore let’s go forth and be smart users of our time.
