As you may know, travelling to your home country always implies spending quality time with family members, so my vacation wasn’t all about tourism and discovery.
Now that am married, the family has grown from just my extended family to my husband’s extended family. What a joy to know, love and be loved by so many people. That being said, I did my best to visit several family members on both sides. As much as I wanted to spend time with everyone, I was limited by time and people’s availabilities.
Throughout all my visits, a number of them stood out to me, mainly because of the conversations and advice I received. An example is my Husband’s grand mother/ namesake who is so eager to have my husband and I be together (my husband and I were still living separately), as well as one of my uncles who didn’t stop asking the question about when we will start enjoying married life. Now we are finally together.
God is indeed faithful. I equally enjoyed spending time with family because of the good food I ate, although some of it gave me running stomach (Lol).
It’s always fun seeing and spending time with family after a long period of time, so I am grateful to God for the opportunity everyday. I pray to spend some more quality time with them in the future.
Now stay tuned for the next episode of my 25 days adventure.
